Often the very best candidates are not currently looking for a new
role, so they're not posting their curriculum vitae to job boards
and may not respond to newspaper advertisements. So, if you want to
hire the best candidates, you need to find them, make them aware of
your opportunity and motivate them to apply. Otherwise, they will
just carry on in their current role completely unaware that the position
you want to fill is available.
Using a specialist third party to identify suitable individuals within
a target list of companies is normally the best way for clients to
access these potential candidates. However, identifying who they are
is only the first part of a search.
Once potential candidates are identified they need to be approached
and presented with the opportunity. The objective is to secure their
interest so that they can be considered for the role. Candidates who
express an interest in the role are interviewed and those that best
meet the requirements for the role are short-listed for consideration
by the client. We work closely with both the client and candidates
during the selection process to make sure that the transition from
candidate to employee comes about as smoothly and professionally as
possible.
